About Morgan

Morgan Uber joined the American Athletic Conference as the Reporter and Director of Video Communications in July of 2021. In this role, she is the primary on-camera talent in the promotion of The American’s 22 sports and 12 member institutions reporting on live games, Championships and through the creation of video content on The American's digital platforms.

Since 2022, Uber has served as a sideline reporter for ESPN contributing to college and high school football, including broadcasts on ESPN, ESPN2, Longhorn Network, SEC Network and ESPN+.

Uber came to The American from the Big 12 Conference, where she was the primary on-camera talent for all digital platforms. She also ran the Big 12’s social media platforms from July 2020 through July 2021. Previously, Uber was with the Patriot League where she served as the Network Correspondent for over three years. In this role, she was the primary on-camera host for the Patriot League Network and produced features on student-athletes, coaches and athletic programs, which aired nationally on Stadium and CBS Sports Network. She received the SVG/NACDA award for Outstanding Live Game Production for her work on the 2019 Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Championship.

Prior to the Patriot League, Uber worked as a reporter for FOX Sports Midwest – Kansas City, where she covered the Kansas City Royals during the team’s 2015 World Series Championship season.

A Dallas native, Uber graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a Radio-Television emphasis. While at Missouri, Uber’s experience as a journalist began at KOMU-TV, where she was a sports reporter, anchor and producer. She was an integral reporter in the Target 8 Investigative Team honored with a Kansas City Press Club 2016 Heart of America Award for sports reporting.
